Need for checking the adequacy of Insulation,provided in the electrical apparatus, cannot be over emphasized. Insulation between the live and earth or between two different sections of live parts, this insulation is required to be tested at high voltage values recommend by applicable relevant standards. The standard specifications for various electrical apparatus specifies power frequency voltage withstand tests at different levels depending upon the working voltage of electrical apparatus. It is observed from the various standard for electrical equipments that the minimum power frequency voltage withstand test level for electrical Insulation is 2KV for one minute.
 

Therefore we have standardized on the manufacture of 'SIDDHIVINAYAK ' High Voltage Break Down Testers with rated voltage of 5KV.The standard voltages are 10KV,15KV, 20KV,25KV,30KV,50KV,100KV, 150KV,200KV &300KV High Voltage Test Sets for higher voltage upto 600KV are also manufactured against specific requirement.

High Voltage test sets upto 30KV are manufactured in air cooled design while the sets of 50KV and above are manufactured in oil immersed design. The output of these high voltage testers is single - phase 50/60 HZ. The standard High-Voltage current rating of Air Cooled design and also of oil immersed design up to 150KV is 100ma for 30 min. For voltage ranges above 150KV the High Voltage Current is 50mA for 30 Sec.
